Fics like Bittersweet Memories

“If only Macaque could see me now, tamed by a cub.” Wukong reached his hand out and rubbed baby Mk’s cheek, cooing as the baby grabbed and hugged his hand. “I bet he’d tell me how much of a bad idea this is..” Wukong wondered, watching the cub bite at his fingers, not doing any damage. “Or maybe he’d help me, accept this cub as his as well and-” Mk watched as Wukong let out a shaky breath, slowly taking his hand away. “Well, that doesn’t matter. Rest up cub, I’ll get you to the mortals tomorrow.” ------ Mk meditates to try and learn about where he came from, unaware of the consequences of not telling anyone what you're doing
