Fics like Sum of Our Worst Moments

“I hate you.” “As you should.” Lestat gets the reckoning he deserves. Consider this an expansion of the scene from episode 1x06 where Louis swims the Mississippi to kick Lestat’s ass. --- Louis. His devastatingly beautiful Louis, torn between his resentment and yearning towards the man that’s supposed to be his everything. His complicated, stubborn Louis, overcome with so many emotions at once that he doesn’t know how to feel. He hits Lestat because he’s afraid to love again, and he kisses Lestat because he’s afraid to be alone again. And Lestat? Lestat wants it all.
