Fics like It's All Fair Play

Louis struggles to stay afloat with a grueling bartender gig at a local strip club. While he briefly considered sex work in the past to keep the money flowing, he's always held back out of pride and self-preservation. Things change when Lestat makes him a tempting offer, and Louis sacrifices himself to provide for his family when they’re in need. --- Louis rolls his eyes. He tries to seem unaffected, but he knows his breathing is still harsh. “Don’t bother me again. I’ll have you thrown out.” Lestat leans into his space, casual in his intrusion. “Will you?” Louis can’t actually throw out Lestat, not for anything he’s done so far. If Tom knew he was threatening to boot a rich customer over this, he’d shout himself hoarse. But Lestat doesn’t know that. Probably. “Yes. I can and I will.” Lestat’s hand wraps around Louis’ left wrist, and his grip is firm, proprietary. Louis tries to pull away, but he can’t budge Lestat’s hand. He feels panic start to creep in, insidious. “Ah, ah, ah, it’s alright, chéri, I won’t hurt you.”
