Fics like The moment I met you

The man they call Agent Stone is brilliant at his job, probably the most efficient the agency has ever seen... and very likely also the most bored one. Work has little to offer him, these days - only the next order, the next job, the next target. Rinse, repeat. Every day the same, with no end in sight. Stone does not expect his newest job to be any different... until it causes him to run into Doctor Robotnik himself. A passing glance without even talking to each other is all it takes, and Stone is hooked on the excitement - the change - the doctor promises to be. Now. How to manage to be assigned to the man? Basically a prequel to the entire series - how Stone decided to become Robotnik's assistant in the first place
