It was too warm when he woke up. Too warm and too quiet and too bright even through his closed eyelids, and the burgeoning headache lurking around the edges of his brain didn't feel particularly promising either. Eddie shifted slightly, trying to cling onto those last wisps of sleep but the hair sticking to his forehead and the sweat trickling down his skin were enough to drag his mind, kicking and screaming, into consciousness. He was naked. Well. Maybe not naked naked, but he most definitely wasn't wearing a shirt, and the bedsheets felt unfamiliarly soft against his bare legs, along with something else, something solid and hot and hairy, and Eddie stilled, resolutely keeping his eyes closed. He knew he wasn't home, vaguely remembered the graduation party at Harrington's and Robin roping him into doing shots. There was a reason why Eddie usually stuck to beer and weed. The hard stuff just didn't agree with him, made him reckless, made him forgetful too, since he had no fucking clue what had happened after the vodka, or how he had ended up in one of Harrington's many guest bedrooms with what felt like another person. Fuck.
