Fics like Wyrd (alternatively titled “Please, Don’t Go”)

Upon opening the door to their cabin, Phil groaned to see Punz shivering at the other side. “For the love of- how do people keep finding this place?!” “Please,” Punz began. “It’s Dream. I know why he’s become so dangerous, and I need help. We need to get that mask off of him.” Phil was at a loss for a second to process. “And, what are we supposed to do about that?” “I need people who are strong, as many as possible. He’s… he’s so powerful. He’s so powerful and his body is failing, I know you have a brother on a different server, I just need you to invite as many people as you can in. This has to end, and soon.” ___________ In other words, Punz stumbles on the knowledge that Dream is the demon under the mask, and that the person inside is dying. With the help of the Hermits and the DSMP, they capture Dream and attempt to separate the two, to save Clay. Once again, this is a song inspired fic, as usual, this one was directly inspired by Wyrd by Glass Animals. I heavily encourage you to listen to it, something about the bass helps to set the scene.
