'Minho has got this roommate who Hyunjin isn’t sure about. “Chan-hyung makes most of the tracks I use for showcases,” Minho tells him when they’re introduced for the first time. “Oh, god, don’t even mention it, please,” Chan says. He meets Hyunjin’s eyes and half-smiles modestly down at the floor, cheeks pinking. Hyunjin’s hackles are up immediately. Hyunjin hates false modesty and Chan doesn’t have anything to be modest about. He’s got a muscle tee showing off his arms, the deep cuts in the side of his shirt to hint at his ribs. And his tracks are good. If Hyunjin made music that good, everyone would know about it. He doesn’t like the way Chan steals glances at him, either. He’d better not try flirting. Not that the guy is bad to look at, but here? This place is supposed to be Hyunjin's escape from campus and all its eyes.' Parallel to Part 1 of this series—you don’t need to read that one first.
