Fics like Fallen Skies

“It’s you!” Ared answered happily. “You are Elisabet. My co-architect. The one for whom I am intended.” Aloy froze, her blood running cold at the name ‘Elisabet’ leaving his mouth so casually. [...] “Tate?” she whispered, the name sour in her mouth. “Travis Tate? You’re… a clone of the programmer for HADES?” - - Six months after the defeat of the Zeniths, HEPHAESTUS is still nowhere to be found, and its absence has started to cause more problems than its presence ever did. Meanwhile, in the months since losing HEPHAESTUS into the Cauldron network, Aloy has become all but consumed with her attempts to find it, to the point of losing track of everything else important to her. Knowing NEMESIS is still on its way to earth, Aloy soon finds herself juggling HEPHAESTUS’ disappearance with preparation for the arrival of the malicious AI—but when a new, even more complicated threat makes itself known, she realizes the things she prepared for are only the tip of the iceberg. A post-HFW slowburn Aloy/Kotallo friends-to-lovers fic with heavy horror/action elements and myriad original worldbuilding.
