Fics like If we were different.

There are two princes of Rivendell, even if only one is ever acknowledged. They are the chosen of the stag gods, destined to fight in an endless battle. We know this story, of course. We’ve seen it all before - For his champion, Aeor chooses Smajor. Exor chooses the eldest, Xornoth. But what if things were different? When faced with two brothers, the gods make another choice. Now, free of demonic interference, Xornoth grows into a king, and Scott . . . Well, we all know what happens to Exor’s champion. Or; A Champion's Role Swap AU with Scott as Exor’s Champion and Xornoth as the Elvenking of Rivendell. Includes guilt, creeping frost in place of corruption, and lots and lots of Flower Husbands.
