Wilbur’s hands hover over Phil’s wing as it extends to drape across his legs. He looks terrified of messing it up, his brows knit with confusion, and he looks to Technoblade for reassurance. “Don’t worry,” he says, grabbing Wilbur’s hand and guiding it gently to Phil’s secondaries. Brown eyes go round with surprise and awe as small fingers brush against the soft feathers, his hand curling gently around one of them. “I’ll walk you through it. ‘S not that hard, once you get the hang of it.” — OR: Family bonding through teaching the kids to preen Phil's wings.
