Fics like Head over beans

Nicky can almost feel the disapproving stare of his whole family back in Italy prickling in his neck when he steps into the shop with the familiar green awning. He knows how to use a cafetière, his mom religiously sends him Illy coffee as if you can’t get it all over London, he doesn’t even like the stuff they serve here – but it’s just that the barista is. Is. Is. Well. Nicky is not good with words, never has been, and when Nile pressed him on the reason he keeps getting his daily Espresso Macchiato, only to throw half of it away, he shrugged helplessly trying to describe the guy working the register. “He’s just… Tall. And dark. And handsome.” *** Or, the one where Nicky has a thing for the barista.
