Fics like The Tear-Jerkiest

The full version of the TSSS Gift Exchange "gift fic" for Pattrose. That Summary said this: "Forget actually talking about whether to have children, even talking about the idea of parenthood can be a really tricky business, especially when you are sleep-deprived and it's two days before Christmas and you just dealt with a crazy situation that dredges up lots of... stuff..." This version includes a gigantic flashback about the crazy situation in the middle of that (slightly tweaked) story, involving a little boy whose mother gets carted off to jail two days before Christmas. (He does not go live in the loft -- Jim & Blair do not acquire a child in this story, no child is physically harmed, and the outlook is pretty good for everyone in the end. ["I'm explaining to you because you look nervous." ;-) ] ) Alternate Title: "Matty, Matty's Mom, Aunt Miranda, & the Tear-Jerkiest Bad Melodrama Never Filmed" ;-)
