Fics like a replica, silently housed

Something big and red launches through the open doorway and slams into the guy full-on, smashing both of them to the ground. There’s a momentary tussle, and then the Red Thing punches the guy, hard, upside the jaw. He goes limp. Out like a baby. Red gets up and dusts himself off as if there’s some sort of physical remnant of the guy stuck to his suit. Now that he’s finally standing still, Peter can see him fully in the fluorescent lights. Recognition hits him like a truck. Adrenaline pumps into his veins: pure, undiluted energy. Peter straightens, grins. “Daredevil,” he says, with conscious attempt to keep the marvel out of his voice. ___________ A month after the events of No Way Home, Peter is struggling to adjust. Along comes the Devil of Hell's Kitchen to give him some advice and promptly pass out cold in his living room.
