Fics like It’s Bound to Happen, so Let’s Just Get it Out the Way

To be fair, Matt figures it out pretty quickly and just doesn’t say anything. That’s the respectable thing to do, he supposes, when you’re representing a 17-year-old in a lease-agreement battle, who also just so happens to be a masked superhero. If roles were reversed, Peter wouldn’t have said anything either. But roles aren’t reversed, and life is tricky enough as it is, so he hopes Peter doesn’t resent him for leaving him to figure it out for himself, completely on his own. Or: The few times Peter was onto him, and the one time he figured it out.
