Fics like With Zero Reservations

In an alternate Vol 8 where Ironwood eventually had some sense beaten into him and Penny’s virus problem was solved with his assistance rather than a deus ex machina, a climactic final confrontation between our assembled heroes, Cinder, Neo and Watts’ army of drones takes place in the Vault chamber. Desperate to make amends for his prior actions, Ironwood tries to sacrifice his own life to take Cinder down with him. Equally desperate to prove that it’s possible to save everyone, can Penny save him not just from Cinder but from himself? (Erring on the side of caution with warnings and rating - see the beginning notes for more details)
