Fics like i'll choose tenderness (and you)

Nicolò didn’t know it could be like this: beautiful even as it aches, and tender even as it shatters him. With all of the lovers he’s ever taken before, Nicolò’s never wanted softness— never wanted to give it, nor did he want to take it. He simply wanted to pull pleasure from his own body in the most efficient way for both of them. He knows that if he had ever tried for anything more, he would’ve given them a peek at the overwhelming flood of longing threatening to burst out from behind his ribs. Nicolò could never love moderately, and so he had never tried to. Oh, with Yusuf, though, Nicolò can’t stand the idea of giving him anything but softness. Wants to cleave himself open to show Yusuf the vulnerable, splintered parts of his heart, and ask for Yusuf to treat him just as gently. Or: First kisses, and kisses that happen much, much later.
