Fics like your love is sunlight

The worst part is that Nicky knows he's too old for this shit. A summer romance—that all-consuming passion crashing over you like a tidal wave and lasting about as long—is one thing for a teenager. But he's much closer to thirty than twenty at this point. He should damn well know better. Yet here he is, flat on his back in the late morning sunlight, his shoulders splayed halfway off the side of the bed, sheets rumpled beneath him and Joe's beard rough against the skin of his inner thighs, and it's the closest to God that Nicky has ever felt. (Modern!AU. Nicky's a bartender in Cinque Terre, Joe's a tourist just passing through, they fall in love. Because of course they do.)
