Fics like no other faith is light enough for this place

Obi-Wan had lived for thirty-six years without finding his soulmate. It was a common thing, after all—most beings ended up losing their hopes at some point, settling down and marrying whoever made them happy. Even if their name didn't match the one written on their partner's skin. As a Jedi, knowing your soulmate made you a liability; prone to rushed decisions and impulsive reactions. So, as much as Obi-Wan longed to know who his soulmate was, he couldn't say he didn't live a happy life even without meeting them. That was, until a Sith stepped inside the walls of the Jedi Temple, with the words Obi-Wan Kenobi etched into his skin shining like the most terrible of promises.
