Fics like The Colour of Your Mind

For Rick Grimes, the world always felt black and white. Even after he met his soulmate --- the woman he made Lori Grimes --- the explosion of colour he expected never really came to pass. Instead, he built a (generally) happy life with a (mostly) loving wife. And then his life changed with a single gunshot, with a stain of a red he couldn't see spreading across his chest, and with a series of mysterious visions flitting before him as he lies, unconscious, in the hospital. (An AU inspired by prompts from Lurafita and LeviathanBlue)
