Fics like A Twisted Tale

Daryl and Rick are all that's left of the group, yet in the midst of the pain and destruction they found something worth living for - each other. Until Rick is bitten. Daryl knows what he must do but can't face a world without his lover. Instead, he lets Rick turn...But something is different, the walker that was Rick is not like the rest. It recognises him, understands him, maybe even remembers him. Could Rick prove to be the miracle that all mankind have been praying for? Or has Daryl condemned the man he loves to a fate worse than death?
