Fics like teach me to want (i'll teach you to take)

If you asked, Alina Starkov could not tell you how she got involved with Aleksander Morozov, only that it was a series of strange circumstances that caused her to go catapulting into his life like a wrecking ball. But for the first time in what feels like her whole life, Alina says yes to what she wants - simply because she wants it. -- Alina looks at him, realizes that they are just inches away, and if she leaned closer, she could kiss him. If she were braver. If she knew how to want. “Why do you call me Miss Starkov?” She asks instead, letting her senses be dulled by the scent of his cologne and the strong fingers on her jaw, the intoxicating proximity of him. Aleksander’s lips quirk up into a smile, his grip tightening ever so slightly as he pulls her closer, and she goes, like a moth to a flame. “Names have meaning,” Aleksander shrugs a little, the movement so natural and easy, that for a moment Alina envies him. Envies and desires this man, who has everything at his fingertips, who knows how to take and take — all Alina knows how to do is give. “Soon enough, Miss Starkov, I’m sure I’ll have yours.”
