Fics like Kabe (Continuation)

He walked up to the bar and seated himself on one of the adjacent stools, smiling widely at the guy. "Yo. So, a Shinsengumi officer, huh?" The man turned to him with a wobbling frown. "Who're you?" Gin waved his concerns away. "Ah, don't worry, I'm just a wandering samurai. I'll pay you another beer if you tell me the story." And then I'll gut you like the pig you are, right after you give me the names. Kabe is a Gintama doujinshi created by the sadistic mastermind Harada which ends very badly for Hijikata. I wanted a better ending and probably a lot of other people did too so I hope this will satisfy our need for Hijikata being comforted after the events of the doujinshi and Gintoki not being the total asshole Harada depicts him as (I love Harada's work, don't get me wrong, but this one was a bit too much). If you don't know the dj and don't want to go read it, it's okay, I wrote a summary in the first chapter so you know what's going on. Enjoy.
