Fics like Well, you piss me off with the things you say

Bruce’s expression could only be described as pained. “He’s family, Dick. Even if he doesn’t act like it. When I call, he comes.” “Family?” Dick repeated, his voice tight. He didn’t like the direction the conversation was taking. “Bruce, don’t tell me you called Jason.” Bruce furrowed his brow. “And what if I told you I did?” “Oh my God, Bruce! Why?!” he slapped a hand against his face. At that point, Bruce started to get defensive. “I know he’s made mistakes…” “He’s killed people! He tried to kill you!” “...but now he’s trying to become a better person. He and Arsenal could…” “Bruce, you don’t understand,” Dick interrupted, “Jason can’t come. I called Superman.” All the belligerence drained from Bruce’s face. “Dick, no.” But it was too late. They were there. **** In which, with no one surpirse, Superman didn't like Jason Todd. At all. Joke on him, the feeling was mutual.
