Fics like vampires

"Did you really bite a demo-bat to death?" Dustin illustrated his question with a gnash of his own teeth. His braces glinted in the sunlight, and it made him look painfully young. The memory of the hot gush of monster blood made Steve want to gag. It had tasted like metal and sulphur. He pulled a face instead, feeling queasy. "Yeah, dude. It was gross." His throat still ached from the creature's tail, his back and sides just a throbbing, open wound that made it hard to focus on anything but the pain. -- A quiet moment between Steve and Dustin on the eve of battle. Season 4 filler.
