Fics like I Ain't No Stark, But You Got Me, Kid

Peter wakes up in a hospital and, for one blissful moment, thinks Tony Stark is holding his hand. He's wrong. Tony is dead. Peter is alone. And the man sitting beside his hospital bed is Frank Castle, who apparently has decided that this kid is now his problem. Especially since he was the one that shot the kid. Oops. Neither of them is particularly good at talking about grief, but Peter asks for a pinky promise anyway. But Frank Castle doesn’t make pinky promises. Except maybe, just maybe, for this kid. (Set in the hospital in Spiderman Brand New Day)
