Fics like Unmitigated Circumstances

Jim wakes up, is immediately imprisoned, is nearly killed by the King Arthur, and finds out he was thrown nearly nine centuries into the past, into a war between Gunmar’s army and Camelot, before being thrown into a dungeon. He doesnt have much choice but to stay there, with a shard in his heart, only some grumpy trolls to keep him company, a body hes still uncomfortable with, and a sassy green troll named Callista asking more questions than he has answers for. All he can do is wait. His friends will surely get to him soon. But what if it doesnt work like that? What if, Jim is never saved? And, what if the shard isnt really as stable as they think? Or, Jim goes through hell, finds a family with the bonus of finding himself, and changes history in the worst way possible.
