Fics like playing with your shadow

Me: You forgot your jersey. Me: I think it fell out of your bag. Me: Can you come back to the hotel? Or should I bring it to you? It’s hardly a minute before he gets a reply. Shane spends the time leisurely inhaling the alpha’s scent from the jersey, slumped forward around it on the edge of the bed. Lily: Did not forget. Lily: Left it on purpose. For you. Shane squints at the screen, then pulls the jersey back to squint at that, as if it has answers. It doesn’t. He crawls back on the bed properly until he can lay half-inclined against the pillows, bringing the jersey with him. Me: What? Me: Why?
