Fics like In Search of Holmes

When the shell of genius is stripped away, what exactly remains of Holmes? I once thought what I was infatuated with was his lightning-fast mind, until that accident took away all his memories and brilliance. I was faced with a blank Holmes, dependent on me. It was only then that I truly began to seek the answer to that question—what does Watson love: that genius mind, or Holmes himself?
