Fics like To Move Beyond the Worst of Days

Shortly after the events of the Neomegas incident, Kanata finds himself more worried about Kaizaki than ever. Though it seems like his feelings are more than just concern for a colleague. His friends come together and get him to sit down and chat with her, where they discuss humanity's unique relationship with kaiju, and the aftershocks of Professor Maki's schemes. This story was written around the time of peak Kanata/Kaizaki pairing, and a friend of mine requested me to write a story involving them. Even now, I usually don't write too many romantic relationships, canon divergent ones at that, but here we are. I hope you enjoy!
