Fics like The Heart Wants What It Wants

Clark could hear the steady rhythm of a heartbeat approaching behind him, a heartbeat he recognized far too well. The soft thuds and impossibly controlled beats only belonged to one man, a man who was capable of bringing Clark’s own heart to throb violently in his chest. ——————— Superman has spent two years falling hopelessly, helplessly in love with Batman—and months trying to get over him. It’s been four months since they’d last seen each other. For Christ’s sake, he should be over him by now. But just when he tries his hardest not to think of him, he hears that heartbeat again. Only this time, it leads him right into the arms of an arrogant, privileged billionaire who couldn’t be more different from the man he loves. Why does Bruce Wayne have the same heartbeat as Batman? Could Clark be mistaken? Did falling in love finally make him go insane? Whatever it is, Clark has to get it under control, fast. Before the world’s greatest detective sniffs out his obsession with him.
