Fics like 50/50

Avram Stefanović died at twenty-seven with cystic fibrosis and COVID destroying what was left of his lungs. His last wish was simple: one easy breath. Then he woke as John Wesley Weasley, Ron’s fraternal twin. John has no intention of wasting his second life being miserable. He has healthy lungs, a family that loves him to excess, and even being a Squib seems like a bargain compared to dying young. At eight, he moves in with Molly’s Squib cousin Colin for a Muggle education. At nine, he goes to sleep in Kent and wakes in Mystic Falls, Virginia, in 2001. Liz Forbes takes him in. Caroline adopts him as a friend almost immediately. Sheila Bennett takes one look at the supposedly magicless boy and tells him he is a warlock. Then John goes to sleep again—and wakes back in Kent. Two worlds. Two families. Two kinds of magic. One boy who already died once and has no intention of letting the impossible ruin a perfectly good second chance.
