Fics like Red on ice

Lia Fell is born into the sleepy, sun-drenched quiet of Mystic Falls—a town still untouched by the supernatural, still dreaming of normalcy. But Lia is anything but normal. At eight years old, she wakes from a fever with two lives in her head: one belonging to Lia, a privileged girl from a Founding Family line, and the other belonging to Alina Morozova, a bitter, brilliant former Olympic figure skating hopeful whose career ended in a brutal injury. Alina died at twenty-six in another world, and somehow, she has been reborn in this one. Armed with muscle memory, a fierce drive for perfection, and fragments of another life, Lia becomes obsessed with chasing the gold she never got—a world title in figure skating. Her body knows the movements; her heart remembers the pain. Her days are filled with ballet training and intense practice. Her reputation at school grows: quiet, beautiful, untouchable. Even as a child, she seems older than her years, haunted by something no one else can see. But beneath her practiced elegance, something dark is stirring.
