Fics like life can bloom when something breaks

He’s only seen Tyler’s face through a screen until now. Nothing could prepare him for this. And for a split second, as Tyler looks out into the crowd, their eyes meet. The hairs on the back of Josh’s neck raise, a wave of electricity sliding down his spine. It’s like time stops for just a moment and the whole crowd around him disappears, leaving just him and Tyler. And then the music starts. Every grainy video Josh has watched is blown out of the water. Nothing could ever prepare him for how it feels to be in the crowd, to witness this with his own eyes. One word comes to mind as he watches Tyler play: brilliance. Every twitch of his head, every desperate slam of his fingers against the keys of his piano, the scratch of his voice as he screams out. Josh feels it all in his soul. Right then and there, Josh falls in love with everything about this band. Everything besides the fact that he’s not in it. And really, this is when it starts. or A story following the lives of Tyler and Josh, from their very first meeting to the present day. A story where the world was just a little kinder, and the two of them were just a little braver.
