Fics like Planet Namek Time Distortions.

Age 762, the Namekian's, a peaceful people are under attack by the gruel forces of unrivaling pressure from outside forces not seen nor asked, all for the sake of their keepsake that has defined their culture, people, and home for many years. All of it, destroyed and tarnished by corrupt hands, with the likes of Vegeta, the Ginyu Force, and the Emperor himself, Frieza, who has sought to tear down Planet Namek's well-fare for their own desires. But at the end of the dark tunnel laid a vast light of hope, like a beacon that shone through to fill a path of uncertainty, Earth's mightiest defenders had arrived in search of the Dragon Balls to revive their fallen friends, giving hope that there was still good in the universe. Many battles were unleashed, conquered, and put to rest, but none however came with a fruitful victory that closed the chapter of endless violence. That wasn't until the Legendary Super Saiyan had awaken from its slumber, and saved the universe from the paws of evil for good... and yet, so much of this era of war and fighting could have had so many outcomes, conclusions, results, both good and bad that would stand the test of time in their worlds. Their stories, unknown to all... until today.
