Fics like Bun in the Oven

“Elphie, please. I’m scared and I just want your advice. You are my best friend. Despite all the shit we put each other through, or honestly maybe because of it, I trust you in this more than I’ve ever trusted anyone in anything.” Elphaba took in a shaky breath, “I… it’s not about me…” “Ugh, but can’t it be?!” Galinda groaned in her impatient frustration, maybe letting a bit too much slip. But she couldn’t help it. She just wanted, even for a brief fictional moment, for Elphaba to act as if their lives were intertwined. As if what happened to Galinda would happen to her, too. More than the support of a friend, but someone who shared in the responsibility. Someone who took part in the sin and had an equal share of the consequences. Or; Elphaba helps Galinda grapple with the realities of her pregnancy and there's just like lots of gay tension and yearning
