Fics like Big Break

Mettaton’s been given an unexpected gift: an old CRT TV with the name “Tenna.” Shortly after, he has strange dreams of a gorgeous TV studio where he’s the star, or at least co-star, of TV Time, alongside Tenna, or at least, his hunky Dark World self. As Mettaton gets to know his stage mate, he helps Tenna to heal from the physical and emotional trauma of his past, and maybe heals from some of his own demons along the way too. This story features Tenna healing physically from his arms being chopped off by The Roaring Knight as well as emotionally from his past, particularly a nasty divorce. Mettaton helps him heal from both and along the way has the courage to come out in the Light World as a trans man and make the transition from Hapstablook to Mettaton.
