Fics like Who Knew Sleep-Kissing Was A Thing?

Eddie buries his face in the crook of the neck in front of him, breathing in the scent of his own laundry detergent mixed with Buck’s shampoo. Right. Buck. Eddie distantly remembers Buck having a beer too many last night and Eddie insisting he can’t drive like that. So he handed him an old shirt instead and they crawled under the covers of Eddie’s bed because neither of them could be bothered to make up the couch. Simple. Practical. A very faraway part of him registers that that doesn’t quite explain why his nose is currently buried in Buck’s curls, but he shoos it away. He’s too comfortable to care. Too warm to investigate. Too content to do anything except tighten the arm he’s got slung around Buck’s waist. --- Or: A shared bed, a good morning kiss and bodies that are several steps ahead of the brains they're meant to be attached to.
