Fics like Morty and Rick Against the Galaxy

Rick Sanchez moved in with his daughter because he’s old, his back is fucked, and apparently drinking himself to death alone is “concerning.” He’s still getting used to the noise. Jerry. Summer. Living with his daughter again. And then a teenage boy covered in grime and blood walks out of the garage, puts Rick through a retina scan, and threatens to shoot him. Oh yeah. Rick has a grandson. Apparently Morty is a super genius. Lab coat, portal gun, alien planets, dangerous inventions. The whole sci-fi package. And somehow Rick is the last person in the house to realize just how fucking weird the kid’s life is. Then Morty opens a portal to an alien bazaar. Rick blackmails his way into coming along. Because fuck afternoon television, he wants to see an alien planet. It was supposed to be shopping. --- A swap au fanfic, where Morty is the dimension hopping super genius, and Rick has a normal IQ. But Morty is still Morty, and Rick is still Rick.
