Fics like in bloom; in season

When Mike had gone to a sunflower field as a child, surrounded by a sea of the richest yellows and hazels he’d ever seen, something had shifted in him. He’d made his own quiet promise to himself that when he grew up, he’d find a way to be around flowers always. Now, he stands frozen. It’s just– what do you say when the most gorgeous man you’ve ever seen, chestnut hair haloed by the golden light, stands in front of you, bathed in the colors of your very first love? Or, Will is a tattoo artist who is unlucky in love, and Mike is a florist who just might help him bloom.
