Quarantine was a fragile thing. Hawkins overcast with Vecna’s success, Will Byers navigated his living situation in the Wheeler household with cautious footing, aware of its feeble foundations. However, his efforts soon splintered, when headaches and strange dreams led to midnight wanderings that he could not recall come morning. As his control over mind and body fractured, night slithering between the cracks, soon Mike Wheeler became his only tether to the bed. Or: What if we got to see the natural evolution of Will’s powers before Season 5? And what if it started with him sleepwalking to Mike’s room?
