Fics like The Last Hedgehogs

Sonic grew up on Earth surrounded by every other species except for his own. Assuming he was somehow the last hedgehog to exist on this planet, he lives his life alone after the death of his previous guardian; Longclaw. Eventually, he's found by his current guardians; Maddie Wachowski and Tom Wachowksi, and from then on, he lives his life to the fullest, not letting any day go to waste. He has everything he needs, everything he wants, and he's always around people that love him without fearing the fact that he's not like them. So, then why does he still feel so... Alone? Or// Sonic believes that he is the last Mobian to exist on planet Earth when G.U.N Commander Walters shows up on his front doorstep, revealing that there is another Mobian hedgehog, just like him, in their facility and wants to bring them together to save their species. He soon realizes that G.U.N perhaps weren't being very truthful, and that something darker was left untold... Inspired by the Rio movie
