Fics like Sister, sister, here thought I wouldn't miss her.

[Written Pre-Season 2 with very little info about Annabeth] Annabeth has lived through one of the most traumatic experience any little human being can go through : the knowledge that not only are your parents dead, but it's your sister who killed them. Orphaned, she lives a good portion of her life in foster care (briefly mentionned) and dedicates the rest of her life to never crossing path with her 'sister' ever again. Until, one day, she sees a live stream on Instagram of said sister she banished from her life forever, casually saving a life with her 'blood' powers. Following her 'prouesse' and her downfall, with no more news of her sister, Annabeth decides it's on her to save Marie.
