Fics like Knight in Chipped Blue Armor

Excitement bubbled inside you as you caught a glimpse of your savior. A dramatic glow lit your knight in shining armor from behind. They were relatively short, but stood proudly. Two shotguns were held in their—you did a double-take—numerous arms (four, if you counted correctly). They threw their shotguns where their wings were. Wings—were they an angel? You squinted, the backlight's intensity causing you to strain. You gasped as you realized your knight's shining armor wasn't armor at all, but metallic blue plates covering a robotic core. They were a machine. --- Or alternatively: You are a prime soul who gets freed by V1. Instead of murdering it on sight, you offer it your blood as thanks. (Plus, you're a hopeless romantic who gets a crush on your savior.)
