Fics like To Be Free

Shane turned his head carefully, even doped up still mindful of his injuries, and whispered, “Kiss me better properly, asshole.” The startled laugh exploded out of Ilya, so much so that he lost his balance and tipped forward, flinging an arm out beside Shane’s shoulder to not fully crush onto and break his collarbone in even more places. Shane looked at him with big eyes and a stupid grin; meanwhile Ilya looked actually startled. He was warring within himself so much that it was plainly visible on his face; it lasted for just a few moments before one side seemed to come out victorious and he was smiling again. Shane got no warning before Ilya gently cradled his face and layered one, two, three smacking kisses on his lips, each one accompanied by an exaggerated mwhaa! sound. Shane giggled. “Better now?” “Yes. All healed up.” How could anyone look at us, Shane thought, and not know? or: a continuation of the rewrite of episode 5, more talk and more feelings. They are truly gone for each other.
