Fics like Think I could love you, but I'm not sure

After the Mission™ Maverick had to finally stop flying jets, due to health reasons caused by two ejections. He decided to retire, because he wasn't going to do a desk job. That turned out to be a problem for Jake because he was his Mama last still single child, so finding him a perfect mate, turned out to be a new pet project for bored at home Maverick. Jake only lasted two months of match making before he started lying that he had met someone. He used the name of the recruit fire-fighter he saw on the news, figuring out he will 'date' him until his Mama finds himself a new hobby, then he would fake a break up. He forgot his fucking asshole brother explained social media recently to their Mama. And unexpectedly he got a DM from his Omega 'boyfriend' Evan Buckley. "We don't know each other, but your Mom DM'ed me inviting me over? He's under the impression we're dating. I think he's confused. If you are having trouble finding help to take care of your sick Mom, I actually know a good nurse, and she's recently out of work." AKA. Jake will literally beg a stranger to start fake dating before admitting he lied to his Mama.(Yes, fake dating rom-com!)
