Fics like 40/60

After losing his leg a year and a half ago- not to the ladder truck bombing, but to the subsequent blood clots- Buck was finally back at work. He wasn't with the 118, which continued to refuse to take him back, but was instead starting at the 217, Air Operations, as their newest pilot and technical rescue lead. It made sense: he already had the license, possessed more certifications than he knew what to do with, and could finally do everything with his prosthetic that he could do before. Almost. The 40/60 mindset had carried him through the last two years of grueling rehab, PT, therapy, and recertifications. Now, he hoped it would be enough to get him through whatever Air Ops threw at him.
