Fics like Among the Stars, Below the Leaves of A Flowering Tree

Humans are social creatures, even when they are pushed to the absolute limits, people will try to form connections with each other, to find safety in one another. Betrayed by the only people that could save him, Ryland Grace still craves human companionship, even when he is sixteen light years from the nearest person. So when the latest Eridian survey mission which had been unusually quiet about their findings on a newly discovered moon, tells him that they found something. He could never imagine that he would be faced with the possibility of another human, just as broken and lost as him. Humans are very stubborn creatures, even when they lose their sense of self, they will try to live despite the odds. Sacrificed for humanity, The Butcher should have died in that metal coffin. So why is there a golden angel trying to help him live again? This is my take on the classic "When Grace mets Simon" story, jam packed with religious trauma and eel related body horror, and a sassy rock. I haven't written any narrative work in god knows when, and this is my first work on here since "the rebrand event" so please gentle with me. I promise the space gays will have a happy ending, but only after I make them suffer a bit.
