Fics like The Chained and the Untamed

Lan Wangji is part of a trade delegation from Wuyue to the island of Hainan, two years after the mysterious Wanguidishi claimed a group of Wen prisoners from the prison camp at Qiongqi Pass. Unfortunately, the ship the delegation is on is attacked and boarded by pirates – pirates led by Wanguidishi himself! Taken prisoner, Lan Wangji finds himself learning a lot of unexpected things, meeting a child (who was at the prison camp), and... finding someone he thought he'd lost at the start of the Sunshot Campaign. Written for the MDZS Reverse Big Bang 2026, for the art piece WangXian Pirate Ship by 0xymore.
