Fics like No other God

Early spring in Malta. Joe walks down to the village to get supplies, sees all of life’s little joys on the way. Returns home and finds Nicky has started having fun without him. “Beautiful.” Joe said, almost mournful. No work of art could ever capture what was in front of him. He had pages beyond pages of notebooks to attest to it. Paintings lost to the years, by Joe, by many masters. Joe had never had a gift for sculpture, if he did, he would have captured his Nicky like this, and so many other poses. On his knees. On his back. A saint in ecstasy. Pierced Sebastian, penitent Lucifer.
