So this time, she intends to do things differently. Unfortunately, fate has never been particularly kind to Adalind—and some stories refuse to be rewritten without a fight. An alternate-universe Nick/Adalind story about second chances, stubborn souls, and finding your way back to someone you were never supposed to find in the first place. It opens with a tragedy. I promise it isn’t all sad. The first chapter, however… is very sad.
